When my son was told that he has asthma, I knew that I would need to make some changes around the house for his sake. I promised him that I would read more about what I would need to do to make sure the air in our house is more hospitable for the sake of his health. Neither his father or I have any breathing troubles, so this was all very new to me. But I was up to the challenge to help keep him feeling better and learning as much as possible so that I could teach my son what he would need to do in life to make breathing easier, too.
