I’ve been a happy customer with Suddenlink recently, so much so that I felt like that I had to tell the world my love for this awesome cable company. When the news is full of nothing but bad things to say regarding cable, cable television and the company that provide it, I feel like it’s nice to hear about those that are actually doing some good in the world. Granted, there is no perfect company out there but I feel like these guys are close to what we need to see more of from a cable provider.
I am honestly beginning to believe that many of the problems we hear about stems from the amount of customers that the larger companies have under their belt. Imagine trying to develop the logistics to handle millions of customers with thousands, or tens of thousands of them, calling every single day due to issues of some kind or another. The customer reps for them would no doubt be overwhelmed and as someone who has worked for one of said companies, the training is not exactly what I would consider the best and the amount of data they deal with is a lot. No wonder it can seem like they are bad at what they do.
That’s why I feel like S-Link is able to provide such great service. They’re not big. They don’t have a need to be big. When I had Insight back in the day they were just the right size for a company, able to address customers and their needs while the reps seemed like they knew exactly what needed to be done whenever you called them. They were more than able to get fix any kind of technical issue that I had on hand while being actually very pleasant on the phone, just like S-link’s!
