Join the exhibit at the April/June: “Fall River - Spindle City Remembered” Exhibit at the Greater Fall River Art Association!!

In 1876, Fall River, the "Spindle City" as it became known, was second in the world in textile production to only Manchester, England.

Expanded drop-off dates: Sundays, Mar. 14, 21, 28, Saturday & Sunday, Apr. 3-4. All dates between 12 noon and 3pm.

All media welcome: paintings, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital & fabric art (featuring Fall River area customs, landscapes, food, culture, history, residents, industry, architecture, churches, etc.)

Opening with a “Victorian Tea”: Sunday, Apr. 10, 12–4:30 pm.
Exhibit dates: Sundays, Apr. 10 – June 13, 2009, 12-3 pm.
